Biography

Aleathea was born in the lovely country town, Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk, England. After moving to the U.S. with her military husband, Aleathea lived in New England and currently lives in a historic town in Eastern Pennsylvania. She was a "late bloomer", attending evening classes at university and graduating law school in her lat 40's. Aleathea was first published at age twelve in her school's magazine. Since then, she's written award-winning environmental research papers on such topics as whales and uranium mining but, now that she's retired, writes mysteries, and
best-selling contemporary/historical fiction novels. Aleathea travels extensively in the U.S. researching and learning more about the gentle Mennonite and Amish people in Pennsylvania and New York State.
